It looks great Judy. Certainly looks a lot more colourful than any communal areas we have around here, and it looks like it should be a very flexible and configurable space for them. I really hope they do appreciate it.

I just happened to stumble across your blog having googled your name during my first lecture with Roger Rist (I'm a fresher studying Software Engineering).
Having read this post I just wanted to let you know I am very very grateful for your dedication to making the crush (yeah, I don't understand the name either) a nicer place for us.
I don't know what it was like before, but as a new student wandering through MACS, it really does make the whole department seem modern and brightens up an otherwise bland route between lectures.

Anyway thanks a bunch, and I look forward to meeting you once you come back from maternity leave =)

Hey- thanks for commenting! I am so glad you like it. I guess I will meet you in about 6 weeks when I come back.

Hey Judy, passed by the crush area the other day and it was mobbed. There were students on chairs, behind screens and on laptops. What was really cool were the students sitting in large circles on the floor....wish I had had my camera with me ..it would have given you a warm glow. Tess

Thank You very much......
