NILE 2008 conference

The deadline has been extended for the Narrative and Interactive Learning Environment (NILE) conference 2008. The deadline is now Mon 10th March. See www.JudyRobertson.typepad.com/NILE_2008 if you're thinking of whipping something together at the last moment.

It's always a fun conference (or at least it was before I drew the short draw to organise it ;-) ). It's small, and friendly and we make an effort to have stuff to do as well as stuff to listen to.

Plagiarism in Second Life It had to happen. My Second Life was running along smoothly (meaning that I have had fewer whiney emails from students saying that their friends have been stealing their toy bricks). And then the fearsome spectre of plagiarism loomed large...

Cognition? Wot's that? A gem from my last class with the 3rd years. Judy: What are the two types of cognition we discussed in lectures? Student: What's cognition? Ah, the irony.
