Authors should submit final versions of their papers by 6th June 2008 to nile2008conference@googlemail.com. Files should be in a Microsoft Word format. Please try to address the reviewers' comments as much as possible within the space constraints. Please note that all authors must register for the conference by 6th June 2008. Full papers should be 8 pages (including figures, tables and references). You will have 30 minutes to present your work at the conference. Short papers should be 4 pages long (including figures, tables and references). You will have 20 minutes to present your work at the conference. Presentations: submit a 1 page summary of your presentation. You will have 20 minutes to present your work at the conference. Since the paper will be printed more or less as it is submitted authors are requested to keep the following general formatting details. Page Set-up: Use pages of A4 size, with the following margins: 3cm (left and right), 2.5cm (top and bottom). Fonts and Sizes: The recommended typefont is Times New Roman. Keep italics and/or bold for special text parts. Recommended typefont sizes: For the title: 16 pts. For the main text (including headings and captions): 12 pts. For footnotes, references, figures and tables: 10 pts. Title: Centre the title (horizontally) on the page. Leave approx. 1 cm between the title and the name(s) of the author(s) typed centred in bold. On the next (and following) line(s) type the address(es) for correspondence centred in italics. Please include email addresses and URLs when possible in the address. General Layout: Use single line spacing. The main text (including the abstract) should be fully justified. Leave a blank line between paragraphs (don't intend the first line of the paragraph). Headings: Headings and subheadings should be left-justified in bold. Do not include references to the literature, illustrations or tables in headings and subheadings. Numerate your headings and subheadings consequently using Arabic numbers. Illustrations and Tables: All illustrations must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numbers. All illustrations should be centred with captions beneath the figures. Do not assemble figures at the back of your article, but place them as close as possible to where they are mentioned in the main text. Please also submit images as a seperate file by email. Note that the proceedings will be printed in black and white. Table headings should be placed above the table. References: References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of your paper (under the heading 'References') but before any appendix.
