Madeline and I got our workshop paper accepted for the Designing for Children with Special Needs workshop at IDC 2013 in New York. It's about our experiences of user centred design at a children's hopsital and how we started to have doubts about whether it was really fair to ask the patients to give up their time to be our design informants. It struck me as an interesting question, because the rhetoric is usually UCD=Good. This is a case where it is not.
